ENGAGING PEOPLE

This one day course is about how to engage people and maintain their engagement. It is, in essence, a course about building rapport and keeping it. However, rapport is not much use unless combined with skills of influence and this is also a key theme of the course. This course is closely linked to our Building Rapport course.

The course draws heavily on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques and extensive research into how people are influenced in their behaviour.

Learning Objectives:

• Develop knowledge of the techniques for building rapport

• Develop knowledge and skills in managing rapport

• Develop knowledge on how rapport is damaged in relationships

• Develop knowledge of research findings in how people are influenced

• Develop knowledge of the "Rules of Influence"

• Develop knowledge and skills in influencing people

This course may be usefully combined with any of our courses that have aspects of change work with people.
