HOW WE FORMULATE TRAINING EVENTS
Our initial response to your enquiry will depend on whether you have sent us a detailed specification tender or if you have requested that we submit an outline of ideas or options for you to peruse. If it is a tender which concerns a subject matter within our field of expertise, it is likely that we will positively respond as a matter of course. If you are looking for ideas regarding possible training, our normal procedure is to submit a set of comprehensive Learning Objectives for the type of training event you envisage. We will expect you to select from this set of objectives in terms of your programme time-scale. If you wish to proceed with commissioning our services, our next step would be to construct the course programme in accordance with the agreed schedule. At all times our watchword is flexibility. If your preferred system of commissioning is at variance with the above procedure, call us anyway. The Department of Education and Skills is rightly becoming increasingly concerned with respect to quality standards and we are determined to take the lead role in the training field in ensuring that our courses reflect National qualification standards such as the NVQ and PQ competency frameworks and any locally agreed competence standards that your organisation may require to be included. Because Osiris Training & Consultancy is active in its own right in research and practice, we are more than just translators and transfer agents of information. You can be assured of the latest information and key ideas relating to the subject area of any training we undertake. Furthermore, no other training organisation of which we are aware, provides anything approaching the amount of information (course content and good quality very substantial handouts) dispensed at our training sessions. For example, any one of our two day courses is quantatively and qualitatively informationally equivalent to a most other courses of at least double that length. From the time we first receive your initial enquiry through to the delivery of your post-course trainer evaluation, you will find us deeply committed to ensuring that your requirements have been comprehensively met. |
