Judith Tuck: C.Q.S.W; Cert. Ed; Cert. Family Therapy; A1 NVQ Assessor; ASI-AF trained; PQ Assessor / Mentor; M.B.A.S.W. Judith has many years post qualified experience. She has worked as an Education Social Worker, Hospital Social Worker, Generic Team Worker and now specialises in childcare work. She has undertaken Practice Teaching and Assessing and a wide range of community, groupwork and voluntary projects. Judith has been a Senior Practitioner (Assistant Team Manager) for several years, initially within a generic setting and then in two Intake Referral and Assessment Teams as Team Manager. She still undertakes periods of contract work as a childcare social worker or manager. She is still rooted very much in practice and is keen to develop staff professionalism and practice skills. 

Judith worked for several years as an unqualified worker before qualifying in social work in 1980. Between 1996 - 1998 she was Project manager for Looked After Children in the London Borough of Greenwich and was responsible for the production of LAC Procedures and Guidelines. She was also responsible for designing and delivering training on the DoH LAC package to all Social Services staff together with Education, Health, Voluntary and Private Sector personnel. Judith was also responsible for the organisation of the Good Parenting for Looked After Children Conference (1998) attended by representatives from many Local Authorities and related organisations. 

Judith maintains a strong predilection for working directly with people in a social care setting and currently works as a Senior Practitioner in a London Borough. She thus brings direct "hands on" experience of day-to-day practice to Osiris Training & Consultancy.
