WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FAMILIES
& OTHER AGENCIES
This one day course has two
variants or can be combined (please state which):
1) Partnership with Families
2) Partnership in a Multi-agency
setting 3) Combined version The Partnership
with families course concentrates on research into partnership working and the
Government advocated
"15 Principles of Partnership" together with aspects of practice which can
assist the
development of effective working partnerships. The
Multi-agency Partnership course concentrates on research as to what frustrates
inter-agency partnership working and what can happen when things go wrong. Legal
information sharing aspects form a key theme of the course.
The course also looks at what works in terms of
influencing people and motivational change. Relevant
to both variants above is outcome formulation. This
is absolutely key and poor outcome formulation is often the reason why cases
drift. Partnership
with families is usually about change and relevant additional courses are:
Rapport; Attachment
Theory (3 days); Models of Mind and Models
of Intervention; and for children Direct Work and
Life Story Work
