SEXUAL ABUSE 2 (PERPETRATORS)

This one day LSCB seminar or two day staff training is mainly intended to focus more on the assessment of sex offenders rather than their treatment. It covers various models of sex abuser assessment and offers social care practitioners various Tools to aid assessment including an Osiris Assessing the Sex Abuser Risk Tool.

Learning Objectives:

• Develop understanding of models of perpetrator assessment.

• Development understanding of the belief systems and motivation of sex offenders.

• Develop understanding of how sex abuser assessment can be located within risk assessment.

• Develop Skills is using Risk Tools to aid assessment

• Develop knowledge of treatment programmes in terms of informing assessment.
